eats crow. is crow. escrow.
well. we did it. we took the plunge and we are in escrow.
this of course after we announced that we were off the market and not interested in buying a house. this after crunching numbers and proclaiming ourselves too poor for home ownership. this after looking around at houses on the market and not seeing anything we wanted.
so what happens. we continued to look even though we weren't interested in buying a house. we figured out that we could afford it even though we are poor teachers. we found a house in the over-saturated-the houses aren't moving- the sellers are desperate market even though we were sure there was nothing in the area we love.
we put out an offer and he accepted it. we are in escrow. we will be closing soon on a house. we will be home owners. OH MY GOD! and no, we are not having a baby soon. i am way to excited about having the house and getting it decorated, and getting settled, and gardening, and relaxing in it to even think about a baby.
did i say OH MY GOD?!?! never, and i mean never, say never.

Congrats!
Cool! Congratulations! Which part of town?
Holy crap and congratulations!
Congrats! This means you are officially settling down.
We're in the same mindset with replacing one of our cars. We can't afford it, don't know what we want. There will be a new one in our driveway within two months, but we won't know how it got there.
This accidental situation is, often, how people find themselves expecting a baby, too. :-)
t-bone, you are not allowed to make comments like that. the unexpected "expecting" is not funny... =0)
Many congrats, Jeorg!! I hope you have lots and lots of fun making it all your own!!
