call me the closer
so, on thursday we will be closing on the house. i am very excited about this. although, we have a very busy month, we won't be moving in until november...
so today we purchased two new chairs for the living room. we also purchased the fabric for the dining room chairs that will accompany the new dining room table we are getting next weekend.
this will be the end of us buying things for the house for at least another 8 years. either that or until we get back from cancun and survive one of mexico's finest all-inclusives that just so happens to have a sushi bar as well...
back to the house. have i told you that i am excited. i am even excited about the first house project for jeorg. it includes using my sewing machine. and frankly, if it involves my sewing machine, i am giddy. (my pink quilt just needs to be put together and bordered, and then it can be quilted).
now. if only i can survive this month and move in... life will be really good.
Good luck! It's so exciting to be starting fresh in a new place. I'm so jealous that you can sew so well. I've been working on a quilt (by hand) since 2002 and I am no where close to being done!

lainey, keep at it. it takes time when you do it by hand. i have some friends who sew by hand and they do a little every night. even if it is only five stitches. keep it up. you'll finish it.
