these are a few of my favorite things
recently i have been thinking about a post about you. the blogs i read. there are quite a few of you. but there is a reason why i wanted to talk about you. i want to share what you have taught me. and i am going alphabetically.
leah* has taught me the beauty of spell checking. all of her posts about editing has made me spell check a little more frequently than before.
ali has taught me to "continue reading." this is important because i never make a point like she does and this gives everyone the choice to stop. not that you had to read it anyway, but now there is the added advantage.
lor has taught me that i can post my photos and thomas' photos. they are to be shared with the world and a lot of fun.
lulu has taught me that thoughts are to be shared with the world.
ms.glaze has taught me to read her recipes and pretend like i would actually make them. sorry. it isn't that i can't cook because i can and i do it well. it is more that i embrace my princess qualities and like to read the recipes that people can cook FOR me. but i love your adventures in that 3 star restaurant.
snazzykat has taught me about blogging. period. she was literally the first blog i started reading at my husbands request, to get me blogging, so essentially, snazzy has been the goal. amazingly, i still read and check daily for updates and love the site as much as i did the first time i read it.
spiritofplace lets me see more of the world and remember that all of my life is worth blogging. she also keeps her posts fairly short and uses photos as well. i try to do the less is more when possible.
t-bone is new to me. but i have learned that lists convey a lot of meaning in a short space. i like that.
phantom is as new as t-bone since they were both discovered by me in roughly the same week. i like the emotion she brings to it and her concise writing with impact.
there are lots of other blogs i read. but i want to thank you all for really stepping up and offering something to the bloggers and the non-bloggers. i love reading your sites. a lot. so post something new already.
*leah also taught me the beauty of footnoting.

I am really flattered. No, really. Thanks.
I'm flattered too. Though I think 'concise' was just you being nice. I just don't blog enough.
Were you inspired by Time Magazine's person of the year?
Aw, I'm touched. Spell check makes the world a better place, doesn't it? :)
