Food and Drink: September 2007 Archives

overall, the labor day weekend was excellent.  we spent some good times with family and friends.

on sunday, in a nearby park, there is always jazz in the park during the labor day weekend.  this just encourages the masses, yours truly included, to gather blankets, chairs, food and wine to go for a couple of hours and hang out with friends.

the food was excellent, the kansas folk took care of the bbq, we took care of the veggies and i made tarte au citron.  there was beer and a lovely white wine.  children, dogs and i think there was even some music...

ah labor day, a great excuse for hanging out and doing nothing.
